EMMA FORGUES
Montreal/Tio‘tia:ke-based new media artist Emma Forgues explores the intersections of science, technology, and the corporeal realm in their work. Through installation and performance projects, they examine the environmental, cultural, and emotional dimensions impacted by these forces. Themes of care, playfulness, and sensuality weave through their creations, while as she.PHASE, they craft live visual performances for the underground electronic music scene in Montreal. Emma's art has been showcased in spaces including Le Centre Pompidou, Sight & Sound, IEEE-ICRA-X: Robotic Art Program, ELEKTRA, MUTEK, Perte de Signal, Currents New Media, and ISEA.
